Hi group.

Shop supervisors print out a modified labor edit report (using
crystal) at the end of each shift for time & attendance. I created a
sub-report in the report footer that shows who is tardy for each
shift. Sub-report uses {LaborHed.ClockInTime} - {JCShift.StartTime}
to calculate if an employee is tardy.

When we work on Saturdays, we don't follow normal shift start times so
everyone appears late. I'd like to include logic in my formula so the
sub-report is blank for Saturdays.

This is new for me - any suggestions?

Thanks!

Kelly
Try the DayOfWeek() or WeekDayName() function. Such as skip
DayOfWeek(PayRollDate) = 7.

Crystal Help

DayOfWeek determines the day of the week the given date falls on, and
converts the day of the week to a Number (1 to 7). Optionally a numeric
value for the first day of the week can be specified. If the first day
of the week is not specified, Sunday is assumed.

Hi group.

Shop supervisors print out a modified labor edit report (using
crystal) at the end of each shift for time & attendance. I created a
sub-report in the report footer that shows who is tardy for each
shift. Sub-report uses {LaborHed.ClockInTime} - {JCShift.StartTime}
to calculate if an employee is tardy.

When we work on Saturdays, we don't follow normal shift start times so
everyone appears late. I'd like to include logic in my formula so the
sub-report is blank for Saturdays.

This is new for me - any suggestions?

Thanks!

Kelly
