Bruce,
We successfully implemented CE8 last month during our upgrade to
Vantage 6.0 We were using the old Crystal Web Server before hand, so
it was more of an upgrade than a fresh implemenation for us, so you
might be running into something I didn't. From your statement, I'm
not sure where you are getting stuck, but I can offer a suggestion.
Crystal Enterprise creates several services on the server. One of
them, the Crystal Page Sever, needs to have Domain Admin logon
rights. Check to see if you've done that, it might be your problem.
Otherwise, try to describe the situation in a little more detail and
I might think of something else.

understand it, I can publish reports using this. I've been trying to
install it on a WinNT4 IIS server but I keep getting stuck, "Unable
to log on to APS".
