Crystal Form Locked by User

Thanks, for the hint. I found the problem. Two users were in it. I'd get one off, no good, get the other off too but the 1st had gotten back in, so still no good. Get BOTH out and STAY OUT at the same time, it renamed OK.

Just as a word of warning to anyone contemplating it the 5.20.305 patch (actually I think it started with the first 3xx patch) has some schema changes plus new Crystal forms (probably due to re-verifing DB?) so it is a bit more than your typical patch.

We had this problem on some forms in version 5.00 of Vantage. We finally
realized the file attributes were set to "read only". At the server we just
did a right click on the file, went to properties and took the read only
checkmark off. This may not be it, but it's easy enough to check.

Patch 305 replaced several of the Crystal forms (arform, traveler, subcpack,
etc....) with new versions. I am trying to copy our heavily modified
versions back (after preserving the new 305 version). One of them is locked
and/or in use by a user but I can't figure out who. Is there anyway to tell
who would be locking this up? Aside from people logged into Vantage is
there anything else that could be preventing me from renaming the 305
version so I can rename ours? Nobody else has Crystal for development but
me and I have had everyone who would use the form in question (subcontract
pack list) exit from Vantage.
