# Crystal formula to use for the order number

Have you tried 'Truncate', gets rid of decimals, rounds to an Integer.

We have and order number in Vantage and want to scan this into our
shipping program.
Example: Order number 354785 reads when scanning as 354,785.00.
This is the formula that I am using - "*" + ToText
({orderhed.ordernum}) + "*"
Can anyone help me with revising this formula so when I scan the
barcode it will read 354785 without the comma and decimal places?

ToText ({ordered.ordernum}, 0)

The zero will indicate no decimal places and then I would just format
the ordernum field to remove the comma.

I have no way of formatting the formula field for ordernum.

Or similarly...
totext({Orderhed.Ordernum},0,"")
where I think the ending "" indicates no commas. There are a bunch of options for formatting in ToText.

the ordernum field to remove the comma.
