Crystal Menu Security Report

Susan,

Check the files section of the group. You will find an excellent report
or two that do the job. I think the ones I have used are RB reports,
but they give you just what you need.

As for Crystal. It's starting to grow on me. I am looking toward the
promise of being able to deal with (calculate on) "memo" fields in ver9
and above. How great will that be?

Newbie here - trying to run a crystal report which groups menus by
user-friendly descriptions and prints the valid users tied to those
menus. Epicor gave me a report built in Report Builder and it just
doesn't seem right. I tried to link the tables "menus" and "security" in
crystal and keep getting an ODBC error. What am I doing wrong? I need a
report to give to the Managers so they can tell me if I have added the
correct user access to each menu item.



By the way, I would like to state that I hate Report Builder. Crystal
seems to be a much better alternative.
