Crystal on the web prompts for password

There are several reasons this is happening. First tell me if you are you
using Personal web server or IIS.

Subject: [Vantage] Crystal on the web prompts for password

When we try to run reports from the web using Crystal and the
Progress ODBC driver, it always prompts for a userID and password,
and won't go beyond that point. Any ideas?

We no longer allow attachments to files. To access/share Report Files,
please go to the following link: http://www.egroups.com/files/vantage/
(Note: If this link does not work for you the first time you try it, go to
www.egroups.com, login and be sure to save your password, choose My Groups,
choose Vantage, then choose Files. If you save the password, the link above
will work the next time you try it.)
If it's the ODBC driver prompting, you should be able to leave the userid
and password blank and hit ok. That's how ours works., but we are using
ODBC with Access. We shut off the security on the ODBC driver administrator
and now it doesn't even show the prompt anymore.

If it is crystal that is prompting, I have no idea, we have never done what
you are trying to do.
