Crystal report asking for PW

Registry entry got it!

Create a String called Password and insert password.

I really should modify the XML to contain the data but I don't know how.

You need to modify the local registries by adding keys for username and
password.

I don't have exact instructions with me but it can be found in Tech Tips on
the Epicor site.

Sorry, I can't help you.

I added 4 tables to the Job Traveler Report Data Definitions. I did
not use ODBC.

[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
All,

I have gone in and done some customization to the job trav. Report. I had to
link a couple tables from the DB into the XML data in order to get the data
I was after. However now each time we run the Job Trav. It ask us for the DB
password. Is there a way that I can make it not ask for this password and
auto populate this info?

Charlie:

I'm a little unclear. Are you using ODBC? Or are you modifying the
Epicor-provided Data Definitions and Epicor-provided Crystal Report
for the Job Traveler?

If you are using the Epicor provided reports, note that the CR Job
Traveler contains sub-reports. Is it possible when you Set your new
Datasource in CR to your new xml, you forgot to press the Update
button for the subreports?

If you neglect to "Update" the subreports when you update the main
report, you will get a message asking you to provide a database name
& password.

I have not changed the XML at all I'm linking the xml across to the odbc.

Basically I had to pull in the Customer PO number that applies to the job
and another customized field off the orderdtl table that holds info that we
keep for a specific customer.

Now that I added the JobProd, OrderHed, and OrderDTl table via the odbc it
is now asking me for the password to make the ODBC connection each time we
attempt to print a job travler.
