We 'Upgraded' from Vantage 8.00.811a to 8.03.405a last weekend.

I am having a problem with a Crystal Report (ARForm)
As our reports are heavily customised, I took 8.00.811 (actually a .705)
report opened in Crystal Developer and set DataSource Location to XML
file from 8.03.405a output. Mapped the two renamed fields and did a
preview - Looked good.

Set Accounting loose on invoices. Printing one invoice at a time,
report still looks good. If they print a group of reports, the Serial
Number section of the details repeats 4 times. I tried with canned
report and only prints once. I have compared Group selection and the
group is breaking on same field.

Can anyone help?

Hi Bernie,

Check the links between the tables. We had a similar issue - raised
it with Epicor, got nowhere and eventually I found that there was a
change in the way the tables are linked in the CR.

I don't quite remember what it was, but try linking the CustNum field
from OrderHed to OrderDtl...or something like that.

Try this. It was a bug fix a while back:


It is just a simple join that has to be done inside of crystal.

* Open the ARForm in the Crystal designer
* Link to an XML datasource by Going to <Database><Set Datasouce
Location> and browse for the xml.
* Click update on this screen after making sure the "Report
Dataset" node is highlighted in both panels.
* Click okay on this screen then again go to <Database> menu but
this time select <Database Expert>
* On this screen you will need to make one more link between the
INVCHEAD Table and the CUSTOMER table
* Clink on Customer.Calc_InvoiceNum and drag it to
InvcHead.InvoiceNum to make this link... Save and everything will be
fine.
