Crystal Report Ver 8

I went back to Crystal. The formula was first created in basic
syntax and when I checked the formula it came back ok. I changed to
crystal syntax and checked the formula and there was an error. I
fixed this, checked the syntax and it was ok, saved it and then went
back to Vantage and now the 515 error is gone. Thank you for the
info. I would still like to know how to add the PO Rel open field to
the report. Any help on that would be appreciated. TIA.

Joanne,

Assuming you want the release open field to conditionally print only lines
open,
you can also do this by comparing the quantity completed to the requested
quantity and if is equal to or over the amount the conditionally print the
record line.
I'm not sure about the 515, try verifying the database in crystal.

What version vantage are you on?

We are on 5.10 135 and I have verfified the location and database.
We need the status via a formula to show the line and release as open
or closed. I got the formula to show the correct status for the line
for the field for the release is not available. TIA.

I created a formula field for the PO detail open line. If it was
true to print Open and false to print closed. Added this field to
the report, saved it. Went to Vantage and got the error. Went back
to Crystal set location, verify database and then resaved to another
name, back to Vanatage changed to resaved report and still error 515.
