Crystal Reports 2008 on Vantage 8.03

Interesting - we tried just installing the CR2008 viewer on client machines with V8.03. We got an "invalid Crystal Viewer runtime" error so ended up installing both versions of the viewer on them. These were newly deployed Win7 PCs. We are live on 8.03, upgrading to E9.05 next month.

Is anyone successfully using Crystal Reports 2008 with Vantage 8.03, even though it's only certified for Epicor 9? Thanks.

Same here... never realized I shouldn't be using it?
We loaded the newer SQL driver on all of the clients as well...

No issues ever reported...
