Â
Hi,
Epicor provide the 32 bit version of the runtime as well as the 64 bit version. We got the same error when assuming that the 64 bit runtime needs to be installed on 64 bit operating systems.

We use mfgsys.exe not mfgsys64.exe. The bit version of the runtime I believe relates to the version of mfgsys not the operating system.

We have had success running the 32bit runtime on both 64 and 32 bit windows 7, provided we used mfgsys.exe.

We have also had success running Crystal 2008 SP3 developer on the same machine with no adverse results.

I hope that helps.

There are various messages on the SAP forums about this exact error, after reading a few they gave me the idea to try the runtime. In actual fact we even had instances where system monitor would report the report printed successfully but the crystal preview would not show and there were no errors output by the application.

Cheers

I have 2 new Installs on Epicor 9.05.701 and a Upgrade from
9.05.700B to 701. I have followed all the steps for installing crystal

pops up, report is already run under System Monitor where now I Screen Print

Hi Kent,

I noticed this too and had it uninstalled on one of the new installs. The other new 701 installation i only installed the crystal report runtime 2010 SP3. Still the same results.

You have to use the 32 bit runtime unless you are using the
mfgsys64.exe, then you can use the 64bit runtime.
