Crystal Reports ActiveX Error

Ya, that is what they told me to do as well, unless I wanted to
spend the money to have their customer programming group look at it.

Thanks,
Keith

All,

A while back there was a short discussion about An ActiveX error that would
pop up when you tried to print certain crystal reports since they upgraded
to the new runtime that works with .net 3.0.

I got word from epicor on this problem:

SCR 57714 has been issued for your "Object reference not set to an instance
of an object" (no details) message from the Crystal Report Windows Form
Viewer.

Development has duplicated this problem. As a workaround, you should be
able to preview the report, and then press the Print button.

[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
Charlie,
Was there ever any resolution to this problem. We are having the
same issue as well.

Thanks,
Keith

I have not seen anything come through as to a release of a fix to this
problem. The only way I think they are going to be able to fix this one is
to release a new version of the runtime or a patch for the current runtime.

Highly doubt that will be anytime soon.

Did they offer any other work arounds? I noticed that I began
receiving the error when I added a conditionally suppressed
subreport to the form. When I take it off, I do not get the message.

This was all they could offer me was to print preview it first then print it
from there.

Was the only feedback that you received from Vantage support to run
