I know how you feel!
The swap file is the working file Progress uses when compiling data.
The specific error message is MM-Bad Swap File error.... (7710) If you
are not getting it don't worry!
If you do install Crystal to workstations make sure that you have
followed the Progress instructions to create an ODBC driver that does
not include the Payroll and GL files. The Progress/Vantage Installation
documents are pretty good.

Swap file? What is that? I'm new to everything. I was told not to
install Crystal on to every workstation. Are you running these
reports out of Vantage itself or just out of Crystal? Epicor is
trying to help me get the compiled reports to work, they do not seem
to be working on every workstation through Vantage yet.
