Stuart

When the data moves into the temporary files and are passed to the form,
the fields often looses there field type. SO the RMA Line Number
becomes a string, hence you cannot link.

What you do is in your main form create two formulae fields. One for
RMA number and the other for RMA lines casting them to a number

Calc

To Number({Field})

You will then find you can link the ODBC subreport to these calculated
fields as the ODBC shows the fields in there true field type.

If you need a sample I can send you one directly

Hi Group,

I am trying to add a subreport to the standard crystal form For the RMA
form. The subreport I am trying to add is to show the serial number
associated with the current RMA part.

When I try to link the subreport, I cannot see anyway to link the
SerialNumber.RMALine to the field RMADtl.RMALine.

This link would give me the Serial Number associated with the
appropriate RMA Line. I can create the link in a BAQ, so know that it
works, but the field SerialNumber.RMALine does not show up in the
subreport links table.

Can anyone help, or if anyone has a RMA form which they have created to
show the serial number, would they mind passing it on?

I am sure if I created my own crystal report I could make this link, the
problem I believe is that the field is not selected to be used or
available in the canned EPICOR Crystal RMA form.

Thank you very much.

What version of Vantage Stuart? We're on 8.03.305H and our RMA form already
has serial numbers on it. (The Detail Section to be specific.)
