Crystal to display Pictures in Folder as part of a Formula

Hi Brian,

I think I have sorted it.

I have ordered them alphabetically and used a suppress formula (but inticked suppress) so it now suppresses ONLY if the previous ProdGroup is the same.

Thanks anyway.

I'm not sure about this, but what if you create a running total field
that resets when the group changes. Use the value of that field to
supress the picture if the running total >1, then it should only show
for the first instance of each group.

When we print a quote the specification for the chosen products
prints once. If we had 10 items with the same product group it will
print once.

Hi,

On our quotation we would like to display a picture of the 'product family' that the customer has enquired about as well as the specification..

I have got the specifications to display in a sub-report where the report is in alphabetical order and if a duplicate ProdCode exists before the current one it is suppressed.

Our product families are per Product Group, so it is working well. When we print a quote the specification for the chosen products prints once. If we had 10 items with the same product group it will print once.

It would be nice if we could get a picture to display only once using the If xyz = ["ProdGrpName"] then xyz.

I can get the picture to display/suppress using SUPPRESS : {quotedtl.prodcode} <> ["ProdGrpName"], but with a picture, there isn't a Suppress if Duplicate option.

Does anyone know of a formula where I can insert a picture (from a folder - not from a table) and suppress it if duplicate?

I am almost there - but not quite!

Thanks,

CHRIS THOMPSON
