Crystal ? (Vantage 5.1 and Crystal 8.5)

Thanks all for your help. And thanks Aaron for pointing me in the
right direction. I had the suppress formulas in Suppress Blank
Section and I just put them in the Suppress(No Drill Down) area and
now everything works properly.

I have a Crystal question and I had asked about this previously, but I
will try again. On the PO Crystal form, I have created digital
signatures to appear on the Crystal form. (Thanks to those on the list
for help in doing this). In Crystal, I basically have two formuals.
The first formula checks the POHeaderBuyer field for one of three
people. If the PoHeaderBuyer = one of those three, then print the
field otherwise leave it blank. Then I have 3 group footers each with
the digital signature for one of these 3 buyers. The second formula
suppresses the footer line if the PoHeaderbuyer is not equal to the
buyer's signature. This works perfectly within Crystal. One buyer
name shows with one signature or blanks if none of the three buyers are
present. The form is saved in the userform directory. This form is
then made the default form in Vantage. Now in Vantage when you bring
up a PO and preview or print, all three signatures are present all the
time. No lines are suppressed. I called Epicor support, but of course
was told this is part of custome programming and thus billable. Does
anyone have any idea why this works in Crystal and not in Vantage. As
always your help is appreciated. TIA.
On our forms that need signatures we scanned them in as BMPs. We then placed on the form one at a time, setting the properties of the BMP to suppress if PoHeaderBuyer does not equal {buyer name}. You just stack all the BMPs on top of each other. Only the one that equals the buyer shows up. This did not necessitate any special footers or secondary formulas.

Hope this helps.

If you right click on the PNG do you get an option to Format Graphic? If so, the option to suppress in on the Common tab. Check the box and then use the button to the right to create the formula.
