Yep...works great. It might take you 1/2 a day on a first go. Cost is
$0 (+labor) as a 5-user license for Crystal Enterprise is included with
Crystal Reports 8.5. Any crystal report you have can be posted. Since
the basic version of Crystal Enterprise is what you are working with you
cannot lock down security on individual reports...you need the full
version which is big bucks. I worked around this by grouping my reports
(Financial, Manufacturing) on separate web pages and giving appropriate
permissions to the whole web page.
I have some installation notes...contact me directly if you want them

Subject: [Vantage] Crystal Web Component Server
Does anyone distribute their Crystal reports internally on their network
with a intranet? If so how many man hours did it take to setup? What did
it cost? How many reports do have available to your users this way? How
does security work?
I'm trying to compare this to report builder by the way.
Also comparing Web Component Server vs putting ODBC on every desktop?
Any comments?
