I'm working on an test upgrade for Vantage to version 5.2. This
includes a change in the ODBC that we are using for Crystal Reports
from the old Merant 3.6 to the newer Merant 3.6 SQL 92. With my
reports going to Vantage 5.0 DB with the old ODBC I am not prompted
for a user name and password. My new reports going to 5.2 with the
new ODBC will prompt me for a password. It doesn't matter if I use a
File DSN or System DSN. I'm not sure if the issue is with the web
server set up or the ODBC. I am using a different machine for
testing this web-server and currently have the web server that
Crystal supplied with version 8.0 installed. I plan to test the
upgrade process to Crystal Enterprise once I get past this issue.
Any ideas?
