Cumulative BOM Blank Title 109215

There is a summary BOM report in the system, and if I remember correctly it should add up all parts (including child assemblies). But play with it.

In version 8.03 and beyond it is a crystal report so you can change it if needed.

It would be in the reports section of the engineering module.

Is it possible to output a form of cumulative BOM on vantage. Currently our setup is using a production based bom with 500+ parts. Over time we have seen parts get duplicated either as material on the top level or behind top level sub assembly parts. Our purchasing team exports this information to excel where they manually go sort through this, pretty much creating a seperate purchasing BOM.

It might also highlight where parts are wrongly being requested by production to be included on the bom, ie they already exist.

So take for example I want to know how many M5 x 30.0 LG cap head screws are used with a top level assembly. How can I go about doing this?
