Custom Actions Menu Item Disabled after record retrieval

Thanks, that did the trick. I'm not real excited about just reenabling it all the time, but I guess that's what it will take.

Dale.

Greetings.

I'm in my first foray into adding an Actions Menu item to our Epicor 9.05 system. The menu launches a custom .Net app from the Opportunity/Quote Entry form. It shows up and works fine when the form first opens, but once I retrieve a quote, the menu item becomes disabled. Is there some property that I have to set to make it stay enabled?

The same type of setup works fine on the Part Maintenance form, so I'm scratching my head.

Any pointers here would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Dale.
If you added it to an already there menu, it is possible that Epicor is
disabling the parent when you change records, I'd re-enable it on Notify
Initialize. Such has mytool.enabled=true;

Check the company config for quoting. Make sure to allow changes and
probably take the change log off.

Subject: [Vantage] Custom Actions Menu Item Disabled after record
retrieval

Greetings.

I'm in my first foray into adding an Actions Menu item to our Epicor
9.05 system. The menu launches a custom .Net app from the
Opportunity/Quote Entry form. It shows up and works fine when the form
first opens, but once I retrieve a quote, the menu item becomes
disabled. Is there some property that I have to set to make it stay
enabled?

The same type of setup works fine on the Part Maintenance form, so I'm
scratching my head.

Any pointers here would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Dale.
