Custom programming preprinted Priority Dispatch Report with no

Andrew,
To expand you current project, check out TweakUI and it's auto login.
Then check the bios setting for action on power restore (after power loss)
and set it to power on.
The combination should have you up and logged in even if your battery runs
out of power on the weekend.
Just a though,

Vantage Plastics

PS. You can schedule BAQs to be run at a set interval by the Vantage server
if you are interested. There are some catches, but it can be done.

We currently use a program called WINScheduler to do alot of automated
Windows tasks for us. I don't have it print reports, but it does login,
open the BAQ, opens a query, loads an updated query from a file and then
exports the results of that query to Excel.

It is straight forward when it comes to recording a macro, and you can
schedule it to run on a daily basis. The ONLY drawback, is the PC that
runs it must remain logged in, which will require a battery backups for
weekends and overnight when no-one is onsite to login after a power
outage.

Report with no user interface

Currenlty we're running Vantage 6.1. Management/CEO/Man who signs my
check,
has a request that the Priority Dispatch Report be printed out in the
middle
of the night for the various shop managers. This way it will be ready
for
them to pick up when they arrive in the morning.

As a way around this I have proposed the following but they have already
been rejected by Management/CEO/Man who signs my check.
Let the previous shift manager print the reports before he leave. X
Let the shop managers print their own reports. X
Let our cost estimator who's office is by the printer print the reports.
X

Has anyone done this?

We have Vantage source code so it is possible.
