Customer Dwg Rev on Travelers 6.1

Not sure if it would be the same thing but I print the rev number from the JobAsmbl:Revision field and it is a field passed via the dbf file. Problem might be if the lower assembly levels had different part number and their own revision numbers...I'm not sure if only the top level revision is in the jobasmbl:revision field for the whole job - I am pretty sure they are unique to each level. Also, could be an issue if the job's part revision is yours versus the customer's. Ours are always the same so I've never considered if they can be different.

Other options would be to add the rev number to job comments that print on the traveler, but that would depend on the person setting up the job to always do that, or add a VB Form field to the job header...with the same manual entry issue for each job.

Subject: [Vantage] Customer Dwg Rev on Travelers 6.1

I would like to add the customer's drawing revision on to the job
traveler, but I can only see the field in the ORDERDTL table as
REVISIONNUM (orderdtl.revisionnum). Does anyone know of a way to have
it print on the traveler without linking the ORDERDTL table (and
whatever other tables may be required)?

Thanks!
Dan
