Do you have access to Quick Search Entry? You could create a BAQ, then bring it into a new quick search. Tell it what value you want it to prompt for and what field to return.
If you are not familiar maybe someone within your organization can create the BAQ and quick search for you

The customer search in Customer Entry/Customer Tracker is much better than the one in Customer Credit Manager -- search options as well as data columns returned in the search grid. Does anyone know how we could copy that same search from Customer Entry into Customer Credit Manager?
