Customer shipment labels and report Styles 404a

For us, I set up shipping labels and packing slips as separate, unique
reports. Im not sure if this is the best way to go about it, but it has
worked well. Most are pretty close copies, with some minor changes
between customers. The shipping labels will be under the same report
style drop down you use for packing slips. I don't make any use of that
radio button setup they have in there. Email me offline and I can send
you screen shots of what we have...

Hello Rob,

I did use the packing slip RDD for the new shipping label. I added the
new shipping label report style to the customer shipping label
(Custlabel). When I manually print a packing slip the only report style
available in the drop down style combo box are those created under the
packing slip. Seems there be two drop down boxes one for each report?
Do you have your shipping labels as a conditionally suppressed sub
report in the packing slip report?

Nice job on the BPM WebEx, very helpful as I have very little experience
with BPM'S and none with BAM'S

Automation would be based on a BAM along with a customized data
definition. We use about 14 different styles of shipping labels and two
or three different packing slips. All print automagically in
conjunction with a shipment transaction (i.e. packing slip and shipping
label for a particular customer). You'll use the same RDD for packing
slips and shipping labels really, just a different copy of your crystal
report, a new style. If you're not auto printing the use just picks the
drop down style combo box and picks the label or packing slip they want.
Options are based on the styles you created.

I created a new report style for customer shipping labels. When
printing packing slips the only reports styles available are for the
packing slip. How does one select an alternate for customer shipping
labels? Could this selection be automated using a BPM based on customer
ID?

Thanks,
