We have just submitted the following modification for quotation. Maybe if
enough people ask it can be a standard patch rather than a mod charge to
those of us that want some kind of standard comments relating to customer
requirements.
We need to add four (4) comments fields to the customer master for comments
that relate to the sales order, picklist/job, packing slip, and invoice.
These fields could easily be (4) VB text fields. These could be created
without a modification. These (4) comment fields would contain customer
specific information and be populated during customer master file
maintenance.
During Sales Order entry, comments may be attached to each line item to be
included on the sales order, picklist/job, packing slip, and invoice. We
would like to automatically populate each option/comment with the associated
information stored in the customer master fields. This would be for every
line item in the sales order.

exact and specific method"?
We are currently using a crappy paper method and it is RAPIDLY getting to
be
a big pain in the butt.
