I have a created a custom SSRS Corrective Action report that is not a BAQ Report design. I added the url to a corrective action dashboard. I would like to build a customization that when a corrective action record from the BAQ is selected to pass the ActionID field to the ActonID parameter field of the SSRS report. What would be the best way to accomplish this?
There’s an example of updating of publishing the a piece of data into the URL on page 1129 of the 10.2.600 Ice tools guide.
A different option is to create a BAQ report that has a very simple BAQ like just Company.Company. Assign the options you want to your BAQ report then pass the report parameters into your existing report as parameters. The BAQ report will be blank except for your report as a subreport. Then your “standard” SSRS report will look like a normal Epicor report to your users.
