You're spot on. The issue is probably due to permissions in
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Epicor\Vantage\8.03.409c\.

The hash structure that the client uses to cache this XML content is:

%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Epicor\<product>\<version>\<companycode>\<type>\<filename>.xml

%ALLUSERSPROFILE% points to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users under XP and
Server 2003, C:\ProgramData under Vista/Win7.

Hi group!Â

We just updated V from 407 to 409c, and I am having trouble with a couple form
customizations in MES: End Activity and Mfg Receipt to Inventory. Users get an
error when opening the form, but clicking through the error messages allows the
form to come up. We just pushed all users to our WinServer 2008 Terminal App
instead of having them run Vantage Locally (I think this plays a part in the
issue...).

When I log onto the Terminal Server to test the error, I cannot reproduce.Â
Works fine for me. I go check with the user, and they have no errors anymore
either. Nice trick, eh?

I think the issue is rights on the TS. If i am not mistaken, when you open a
customized form for the 1st time the customization (an .xml file?) is downloaded

from the server to the client. Right?  If the other usres don't have rights to
the folder, they get an error. I try uner my domain account that has the
right Rights, no error for me, and since I downloaded a current version of the
customization, no errors for users.

So, am i all wet? does this make sense? Can anyone help me fill in the gaps?

Thanks a Bunch
