We've added a UD column in parts for Install time and asked to duplicate it on the quote. (done)
Now they want each line to show a calculated field for the Total Install time, a calculated field of the Install time field Times the ExpectedSellQty field on the quote.
Anyone have a good way to accomplish this? I'm out of ideas...

Hi Chris,

Perhaps writing a BPM that would place your calculation in a UD filed in the QuoteDtl table for each part line. I have a post process BPM using the Quote.ChangePartNum method that changes the Product Group field after an ExepectedSellQty has been entered. I would think this would bring in your UD value from the related Part table and then run your calculation fomula.

Post Processing on Quote.Update

FOR EACH ttQuoteDtl:
Assign ttQuoteDtl.Number10 = ttQuoteDtl. ExpectedSellQty *
ttQuoteDtl.YourCustomInstllaTimeField.
END.
