Customizing MES (Vantage 8.03)

If it's a text box you should be able to call the following:
MyTextBox.Focus();
MyTextBox.SelectAll();

That should move focus to the text box and highlight all the text. Use the
event wizard to stick the code after the 'getbyid' adapter method and you
should be all set!

We're migrating to Vantage 8.03 & I need to know how to customize the MES screen so a particular field will be where the cursor appears and any data already in the field is selected so scanning new data will overwrite existing. I don't know how to accomplish this once I get a customization screen for MES open.

If the best I can do is have the cursor default to a particular field that would at least help.

Any thoughts?
