Cut data from employee report

A very similar method we used on some reports was to select "Generic/Text Only" as the printer then open in Excel the saved file from the working directory. This requires some formatting in Excel because it puts all the data in a single column but you can run the "Text to Columns" function in Excel to clean it up.

In Vantage 6.1, our HR wants to preview the Employee Efficiency Report and cut the data to paste into an Excel spreadsheet to manipulate. The print preview will not allow him to cut the data into memory. Anybody have any suggestions?
Have them copy the data from the temporary txt file created in the
c:\epicor\mfgwrk61 directory during print preview. The file will be
named RPTxxxxx.txt

In Vantage 6.1, our HR wants to preview the Employee Efficiency Report
and cut the data to paste into an Excel spreadsheet to manipulate. The
print preview will not allow him to cut the data into memory. Anybody
have any suggestions?
