# Cycle Count Tag Entry Error Message: A valid and active Part is required

We have a part, call it 123, with only ADJ-CST transactions since being created on 12/20/20. Thus, there is 0 inventory. The part came up during a cycle count. We entered 0 counted and checked return. When trying to SAVE, we get the error message “A valid and active part is required”. Please advise how to resolve this. Can I delete the tag? Is the part considered invalid because it has no inventory transactions? Thanks Tony
