Does anybody have any idea how I can create a report that shows me all orders booked each day and is due within the year.

The bookdtl table gives me all the information except that it does not identify when the sales will occur. It only shows the First release date and associates all sales on that day.

Any ideas on how I can figure this out?

Thanks,

Jasper

Try using OrderHed.OrderDate along with OrderDtl.DueDate

I also need to get any changes to existing orders. If I just look at the order table, how would I know what changes have been made to existing orders?

I want to be able to report on all new and change orders and be able to report how much the change was and when the sales will occur.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Jasper

Jasper:

You need to use the bookdtl file - use the rectype to determine if it is an
add, delete, change, void.

A daily bookings report can be very tricky, especially if multiple changes
were made to an order line and or order release at different times during a
day. You need to capture the net of the changes.

Good luck but beware.

Is the Sales Order Backlog report insufficient for your needs? It will at least tell you when future sales will occur. It won't give you changes, except that it will report the latest changed information.

Use OrderRel.ReqDate (& OrderRel.OurReqQty for $ math) if your order lines ever have multiple releases.
