Dashboard BAQ parameters vs. dynamic where clause

creating a new thread from https://epiusers.help/t/tweaking-the-where-clause-on-a-dashboard-refresh/43350

Has anyone tried any performance testing on creating a dashboard BAQ with parameters vs. coding a dynamic where clause. We have a few dashboards that we would like to return multiple parts/customers/jobs. Using the tracker view does not work for multiple selection.

We are using parameters, and loading the parameters based on the selected items by the user. If dynamic where clause is a better route, would anyone have an example I could see. If there is a better solution I am open to going down that path, since we are making changes to the dashboard anyway.

Thanks,

Ken

Hi Ken. Did you ever figure out a solution to this?

We just continued what we were doing and used parameters based on the selected by the user.
