Dashboard retrieve on a button instead of using Refresh on the t

I need to do this, but an updatable dashboard deployed as a DLL, not via
the dashboard runtime. So the method below doesn't work -- no DBTVP
global object.

I tried oTrans.Refresh(), but that gave me the error " is neither a
DataColumn nor a DataRelation for table Results.". (Not a typo...
that's the entire error message).

A trace showed a call to
Epicor.Mfg.BO.DynamicQuery.ExecuteDashBoardQuery, but I can't figure out
what dataset to pass it. Actually, I can't figure out where the dataset
is at all in that form :-(

Any suggestions?
Epicor 9.05.603

Thanks,
Brian.

Refresh on the tool bar?

I apologize I forgot we need instantiate a static DBTB

//Declare this class level

static Object DBTVP;

//Call this in Init
//You get the DBTVP Number like I mentioned before
DBTVP =
(Object)csm.GetGlobalInstance("DBTVP_218cde09_e9b6_491e_a225_6a9ab8c0ba8
d");

private static void btnFilter_Click(object sender, System.EventArgs
args)
{
System.Reflection.MethodInfo methInfo =
DBTVP.GetType().GetMethod("RefreshDB",
System.Reflection.BindingFlags.Instance |
System.Reflection.BindingFlags.NonPublic);

if ((methInfo != null))
{

methInfo.Invoke(DBTVP, null);
}
}

We have a requirement to have a button on the dashboard tracker 'Retrieve' to get the data after user entered a value in the tracker field.
Does anyone know the command I can place on the click event of this button for the dashboard to get the data like it does when you press the refresh button on the tool bar?
Thanks,
Uzma
private static void btnFilter_Click(object sender, System.EventArgs args)
{
System.Reflection.MethodInfo methInfo =
DBTVP_218cde09_e9b6_491e_a225_6a9ab8c0ba8d.GetType().GetMethod("RefreshDB",
System.Reflection.BindingFlags.Instance |
System.Reflection.BindingFlags.NonPublic);

if ((methInfo != null))
{

methInfo.Invoke(DBTVP, null);
}
}

The DBTVP is declared hidden, just hit show All code.

Thanks!
I'd let you know if I run into any roadblocks.
