Hello, I am new to Vantage 8.03.305h. We run in a SQL Server 2005
environment.

I have created a BAQ that I put on a dashboard. I need to add a text
field to the dashboard that will be used to filter information. I have
this working in the case of an exact match or a match to the beginning
of the data.

How can I make this work for a filter where the data contains the
contents of the Text box? I must be missing something important.

I hope that I have provided enough information. Thanks for your help.
I know Progress uses the 'INDEX' Function ( Source as CHAR, Target as CHAR, Starting-point as Integer) , starting point defaults to beginning of Source string: Returns an Integer depicting 'starting-point' of Target string within Source string : I'm guessing a '0' is returned if 'Target' not found
