Hi Diane,
There is necessarily a lag between the act of clocking in for
Time & Attendance purposes and the act of clocking on to a Job.
The lag goes to your Idle Time collection work center. The elapsed
time between clocking on to a Job (or activity) and clocking off
the Job goes to the Job. The elapsed time attributed to the Job
appears to be unaffacted by the selection option on "Consider Grace".
Will your system allow you to build some fake work orders and "run" them?
Mike

Subject: [vantage] Data collection configuration question
Hey all,
We are getting really close to going live with shop floor data collection
and I have a question. The check box to consider grace for labor detail - I
understand the principle, it will either leave in or take out any job labor
detail associated with an early or late clock in (according to epicor
support). My question is, what is the result if I check the box? Does that
allow the grace time to go to the job, or does that exclude the grace time
from the job? TIA!!
