I've been doing this for years via a sound card in the Vantage server.
At scheduled times plays a short WAV file. The sound card is connected
to the unused overhead music input in the paging system....but could
also be connected to an amplifier & horn if the space involved is not
large. I have a Word doc explaining it all, the wav player and the .wav
file that I can send of list id you like. Using this method guarantees
Vantage and the buzzer match within 3-4 seconds.

Has anybody tied in their data collection to a buzzer? Currently we are
using our old time clock for the buzzers to signal breaks and lunch.
Unfortunately, this clock does not always match the data collection
clock. As a result, employees clock in too early or late.

Does vantage 6.1 have this capability?

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Jasper
