I can safely tell you that individual user ids for each station will not help this. I have it set up this way, and I ask for endact.r what seems like every week.

Anyone:
We too are plagued with employees getting locked into transactions and have to use Endact.r to release them.
Has anyone else heard that if you use unique logins to Vantage for Data Collection that this will help or eliminate locking people into transactions? I had someone tell me if I create a unique user id for each data collection station this will fix the problem. I have not tried it yet as this will involve considerable time setting it up, but if anyone else has experienced this fixing the problem then it is well worth the time and energy.

figure out why it happens. Vantage Support doesn't appear to know how
it happens either but they do have a fix. Ask them for the EndAct.p
program and you will be able to force them out of the bogus jobs so
they can clock out.
