Brad

You need to reinsert the sysprogress user into the progress database through
the Data Administration Console.
Connect to your database, then use menus, Admin -> Security -> Edit user

Subject: [Vantage] Database Login - Reports - Post Dump and Load

We just completed a dump and load on our database. Now for some reason, when
trying to run Crystal Reports, we are prompted with the database login
window. I checked the registry, the password entry is there. I checked in
the system agent and the sysprogress is there.

The other thing is that no matter what I type in the login prompt, it doesnt
seem to work..

Confused as to what it could be. Does anyone know what would have changed
after doing the dump and load?

Thanks,
Brad

You have to recreate any actual DB users again after a dump and load, you do
this through the Data Administration Tool.
