Database restore and conversions

Melissa,

It sounds like a Service Connect service.

Last night we resotred a copy of our last backup on to our test server but when
we went to run the database conversions it through an error. We needed to start
the ScaLogonSrv. My guy started it but event log through errors. It let him into
the admin tools and he was able to start and finish the db conversions.

Does anyone know what the service is for and why it through an error but after
we started it (and apparently failed) it still let us run? Is it something we
should be concerned with?

Thank you

I believe that service is for Service Connect, and shouldn't have anything to do with the database conversion.
