Dataworks Bar 39 and Report Builder - Vantage 6.1

I believe DW39 requires that the barcode include leading and trailing *
(asterisk) symbols?

We are experiencing a problem printing barcodes in Report builder
using the default Dataworks Bar 39 font.

When you use a scanner to read the barcode it fails.

Any assistance would be appreciated. We have tried to vary the size,
but no positive results.
