DB Repair utility

Have you run the Vantage utility to determine if a re-indexing of
the database is required? You can ask support for Page: 5059MPS this
will give you the Index Factors showing if a re-indexing is
required. Hope this helps, they should also be able to give you an
idea of how much time it will required based on size of your
database.

I was just given the information on how to run the Truncate Bi utility, the DB repair utility and the Index Rebuild utility.

Why would I need to run these utilities?
When SHOULD I run these utilities?
How long do they normally take? Should I sent a weekend aside to run these utilities?
