DCAA (Defense Contractors Accounting)

The following site http://www.dcaa.org/ and http://www.dcaa.mil/ contain all the details. In short, amongst other particulars, its the interfacing of indirect costs to federal financial systems for audit purposes. I took the following explanation directly from the website:

The Defense Contract Audit Agency consists of approximately 4,000 people located at more than 300 field audit offices throughout the United States, Europe, and in the Pacific. The Agency provides standardized contract audit services for the Department of Defense, as well as accounting and financial advisory services regarding contracts and subcontracts to all DoD Components responsible for procurement and contract administration. These services are provided in connection with negotiation, administration, and settlement of contracts and subcontracts. DCAA also provides contract audit services to some other Government Agencies.

Has anybody participated in an E9 implementation wherein a DCAA (Defense
