I have a grid in Kinetic and I want to copy the data without having to export it to Excel, but when I copy the decimal data it is formatted with a point (45675.61), but when I export it it is formatted correctly, with the comma (45675,61)
Do you know where I have to change it so that when I copy it comes out formatted correctly (45675,61) with the comma?
in my grid the values are formatted correctly, only when I copy and paste into excel they look like this:
I would suggest putting in a ticket with EpicCare. That sounds like some localization issue. In the US, our decimal data is separated with a decimal, but I know in other countries, they use commas so I think the system displays your countries version (comma separated) but the system is copying it as a region that uses decimal points instead.
Maybe something with your local machine? Also, I believe there is a setting in excel where you can specify for it to change the decimals to use commas instead of decimals.
Open Excel
File > Options > Advanced, Find Use System separators, uncheck and then put the comma in the “Decimal separator” field.
Thank you @mackenziem . The Excel suggestion is already correct, but it doesn’t work. I’ll to open a ticket in Epicare, because this only happens when I copy and paste and it only happens with the Kinetic version, so I believe it has something to do with the location. Thank you very much.
