What is the mechanism that associates the default printer from a given workstation when accessing Kinetic through the browser? Case in point:
I have a label printer (network attached) that sits next to a machine where inventory is being managed. When the user logs into that machine and choses to print a label, I need a definitive way to determine what the default printer is for that location. We aren’t using the baked in label printing, and have a BPM driven label printing interface… The classic interface used the WorkstationID field, which is not available in the Kinetic interface. Any ideas would be appreciated.
I’m just now catching up on EpiUser notifications and saw this.
It still exists in Kinetic, just not where you were accustomed to seeing it in the old smart client.
Select the User icon
First select Setting and check the Show Workstation checkbox (so that it’s visible as to which one is selected.
You select the workstation you want to use from the same place you now change Companies and Sites.
