Default Report style 8.03.804

Thanks, That worked.
Â
Dale's message went into the spam file for some reason and I did not see it until I went looking for it.
I need to try now to figure out why some are going into the spam folder.
Â
Thanks Doug

Did you press the Refresh button at the top as Dale suggested
yesterday on this thread?

He was right. That worked for me.

If that doesn't work, try my previous trick of making a change to the
report style then hitting save. This causes the checkbox to appear
for me. Then you can make changes back to the way they were and save
again with the check box checked.

Unfortunately there is a flaw in the Report Style maintenance module
in 8.03.404. Unless you actually make a change to the report style,
the Checkbox for Default Style will probably not be visible.

When I need to check or uncheck the default box, I do this: I change
the name of either the Crystal Report file or I choose a different
data definition. Then Save these "bad" changes. Upon saving, now
the default box is displayed. At this time, I change the settings
back to what they are supposed to be, check the Default Report Style
box, and re-save.

Thanks Lynn, you are correct, the check box for the one I want to set is not available. We are using 405A. I will try your trick, today.

I have found that if you click on the refresh key the default style line
will display.

There is not a Default box to check on my system.
I am on 8.03.807.
On the standard style there is the company info at the bottom.
On the custom style the company info is blank.
Any Idea why we can not set the defaults for the company?
