Delete duplicated Layers - Application studio

Hello! I imported a layer from LIVE to PILOT with the idea of overriding the one in PILOT to undo the changes, but instead it created a second layer with the same name.
Now I’m not able to edit or delete any of those layers.

In the application studio grid, each time I select one of those layers, the second one is selected as well.
If I click on delete selected layers, nothing happens. Checking the network traffic, I see the BulkDelete method returns “Record not found.”

I have actually run into this but don’t have a great answer for this specific case.
I was able to delete the duplicated layer. It did select both but only deleted the one I added. Then reimported the layer and checked the company toggle and that actually overwrote the one I was trying to overwrite.

I’ve had it do this but was able to delete the layers and reimport.

:scream:

It seems kind of hazardous for Epicor to blindly duplicate layers.

In my case one went to my company ID and the other somehow to T_{my company id}

If you do an export without checking you could end up with both layers in the save.

I just ran into the same thing, and did an export with all layers just in case I couldnt get it back.

Epicor support created two data fix files for me in order to delete the layers.
