Is it possible to restore a company if it has been accidentally deleted?
Roll back to a recent backup? Otherwise, trying to restore to a different
environment and surgically restoring portions of the numerous tables that
were deleted is an unfathomable task.

Depending on how recently you deleted it and how important it is; you could
halt the system, roll back and reenter transactions.. but that sounds like
heartburn, too.

Hi Vic

I thought so - I deleted a company we don't use but should have tested the
delete first just in case anything goes wrong with one of the other
companies - hopefully not!

Keeping a copy of a backup was my 'backup' plan ;-)

I've deleted several companies on our Live database with no issues in 9.x. And if you really need to restore one, Epicor should be able to give you a script that exports/imports every table. But there's probably caveats to the non-company tables if the other companies went forward after the deletion.

They're stored in your mfgsys directory and it's the b1 file - we were advised it should always be less than 10% of your db file.

We're on Vantage 8.03.409a if that helps!
