Demand Report Blank Title 64829

That will not work for us, we have to take into account multiple
parts that can be substituted for each other. If we order steel to
one spec and it comes in as a higher grade we upgrade it to the next
part, it can still be used as a sub for the first part and needs to
be taken into account for demand requirments. I see no way in
Vantage to account for this besides giving them a custom report.

I am writing a report that is being requested to show current on
hand, current demand, and current on order for each part in a selected
class. I have the On hand, and Demand done with summarized sub
reports. I am trying to get the demand now. I am looking at the
partdtl table and see the Quantity field and there is a Type of PO or
JM. My question is if I filter on all that are type JM that should
show my current demand for that part based on all jobs, correct? If
so is that released or is it just all jobs?
If you wanted to break out demand by type you may want to look at the
various allocated qtys in the part wharehouse table

They just want to see total demand overall. But looking at the
PartWhse showed that I am getting the same numbers for my totals as
I would if I added the various demands.
Thanks,
Mike

Not to sound stupid...

But have you reviewed the Time Phased Material Requirements Report
under Materials Management>Inventory Management?

Thanks
