Does anyone know how to move the description box? When entering a part on the fly, I cant see what I am typing.
What version are you on? I don’t see that behavior at all.
We are running 2024.1.7.108

This almost looks like a graphics card glitch. Is this happening for other users as well (on other machines)?

Which version of kinetic are you running? Can you send me a screenshot of what yours looks like? Epicor is telling me there’s nothing they can do about this.

I don’t get that secondary artifact that you’re seeing, at all.
That box looks to be the result from a BAQ predictive search.
As far as moving it, I do not know how to move or make it work effectively. We had a lot of issues with it in requisition entry. I ended up deploying a grid for part searching.

Nice. That makes sense I suppose. I’ve never played around with that “feature”. Explains why I haven’t come across this. If its always in the way like that, I would report it as a bug. A “feature” shouldn’t get in the way of useability. Seems like they just need to move the anchor point to the bottom of the cell instead of the center.

I had a meeting with epicor last week and they pushed this up to their developers. Hopefully they get this fixed soon.
